3 Doors Down Concert Postponed

Gray and I were just saying the other day on the radio show that this was a great weekend for concerts at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater - Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts last night, Third Day, Switchfoot, and Jars of Clay tonight and 3 Doors Down on Sunday - but unfortunately, I just found this from pilotonline.com:

"Brad Arnold, lead singer of 3 Doors Down, has been advised by his doctors to take an additional period of time off to rest his voice. The band will postpone the next seven shows on their current headline tour which includes a Sunday stop at the beach amphitheater.

Tickets purchased for Virginia Beach at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets will be refunded at point of purchase starting Friday, Sept. 12. Tickets purchased online or via phone will be refunded automatically.

3 Doors Down will be making an announcement as to the re-scheduled dates for the engagement. The band has expressed deep gratitude to their fans for their continued support."

This definitely sucks because I knew a bunch of people that were planning on going and I've been there before (same thing happened to me and Paulie when we drove up to see The Killers in Philly, only they didn't make this announcement until that afternoon and we had already driven up there!)

So our condolences to everyone that had tickets, but at least you found out beforehand and it looks like you can get your money back.

Oh, and I'd love to hear from someone that got to see Taylor Swift live last night (seeing how I obviously was the only person I know that didn't get to attend). How was the show??

Taylor Swift is an amazing performer!

She was the reason I went to the show...saw her last year when she opened up for Paisley and she is only more polished and mature.
